To my surprise the engine slipped right in the frame. I was prepared to cut away the whole lower engine cradle and redo the lower mounts. And I even found a fitting engine mounting plate.
For the rear axle I have fabricated insert sleeves that are pressed into the engine cases to reduce the diameter in order to fit the smaller axle.
There will however be some creative thinking needed when it comes to the carb and air box...
